Qualifications and Experience:

• Current, active RN license in good standing
• At least one year of recent experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or step-down environment
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Proficient communication abilities with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Adaptability in swiftly changing clinical situations

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver hands-on, evidence-based nursing care for PCU patients with acute and complex needs
• Monitor vital signs, interpret cardiac rhythms, and quickly respond to changes in patient status
• Collaborate with physicians and care team members to develop tailored care plans
• Administer medications, manage IVs, and monitor for potential adverse reactions
• Provide education, emotional support, and guidance to patients and their families
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and progress within electronic health records
• Maintain compliance with hospital safety protocols and standards of practice

$3,225 - $3,400/WeekEstimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
