Criminal Defense Attorney

*Job Overview*
We are seeking a hardworking and dedicated individual to join our 20 member Criminal Defense Team. Applicants should have some criminal experience and ideally a record of handling Superior Court criminal cases (whether from the perspective of the defense or as a prosecutor). Jury trial experience would be nice but is not mandatory.

*Location of Job*

We are fortunate enough to have offices throughout the state and the right hire will have the ability to work out of the local office that best fits the County(s) to be handled by them. For example, we have an office as far south as Mays Landing, as far north as Fort Lee, and many offices located in between. You will be afforded the ability to work out of any number of locations that best coincide with your residence and the court(s) being covered.

*Work Hours*

This is a full-time position but there is no micro-management. No one is expected to punch a clock although attorneys must keep their cases up to date, actively communicate with clients, work diligently on matters, and take some pride in their work.

*Requirements*

* Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in New Jersey
* Proven experience or strong interest in criminal defense work
* Willingness to actively communicate with criminal clients, their family members and/or loved ones

*Salary*

The salary is truly negotiable based the applicant's level of experience. You should also know that attorneys have the ability to earn additional compensation as the result of originations of their own, as well as based on conversions of firm originated calls.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
