Mortgage Loan Officer

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for motivated, entrepreneurial Mortgage Loan Officers who want to build a sustainable, referral-driven mortgage business-not simply receive leads and take applications.

The ideal candidate has at least 1-2 years of mortgage origination experience and a demonstrated history of closing loans , ideally 4-15+ transactions annually. We are also open to experienced mortgage processors, assistants, or other mortgage professionals who are ready to transition into originating and have the drive, communication skills, and willingness to learn.

Top candidates will demonstrate:

• Current or recent experience as a Mortgage Loan Officer, Mortgage Loan Originator, or experienced mortgage professional
• A history of closed residential mortgage loans
• Strong knowledge of the mortgage process from application through closing
• Ability to develop and maintain relationships with Realtors, buyers, investors, and referral partners
• An entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to build their own book of business
• Strong communication, follow-up, organization, and relationship-building skills
• Coachability and willingness to follow a proven business-development system
• Desire to leverage social media, technology, CRM systems, webinars, networking, and other modern marketing strategies
• Ability to work independently while being part of a collaborative team
• A genuine desire to increase production and income , rather than simply maintain the status quo

Especially Strong Candidates

We are particularly interested in Loan Officers who have experienced one of these situations:

Experienced LO who has relied heavily on company-provided leads and now wants to learn how to generate their own referral business.

Experienced LO who has a small database or Realtor network but has never had a consistent system for turning those relationships into recurring business.

Mortgage processor or loan coordinator ready to become an originator who understands the loan process and is hungry to learn the sales and business-development side.

LO returning to the business after a career break who already understands lending but wants structure, technology, mentorship, and a proven system for rebuilding production.

Independent or entrepreneurial LO who wants more control over their business, access to technology and marketing resources, and the ability to build long-term referral relationships.
What We Are NOT Looking For

This opportunity is not ideal for someone who:

• Expects the company to provide all of their business
• Is uncomfortable prospecting or networking
• Does not want to develop Realtor and referral relationships
• Resists coaching, accountability, or structured systems
• Is looking only for a salary or a traditional corporate LO position
• Is unwilling to learn new technology and marketing strategies
