Federal Proposal Manager

Owning the opportunity-discovery and pipeline-readiness functions, the full-time remote Federal Pipeline Manager & Proposal Writer will manage federal opportunity sourcing, maintain pipeline records, and prepare proposal content while supporting the business development lifecycle. Key responsibilities Continuously identify and document relevant federal opportunities through various procurement platforms Maintain accurate CRM and pipeline records, ensuring timely updates and decision-making support for leadership Independently write and edit federal proposals, RFIs, and capability statements while providing editorial support for major submissions Required qualifications At least four years of federal government contracting experience in opportunity research and proposal writing Current Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) certification at the Foundation level or higher Demonstrated experience with federal procurement systems and the pipeline-to-proposal lifecycle Strong substantive editing skills and ability to review proposal content for compliance and clarity Advanced experience using generative-AI tools for opportunity research and proposal development
