Pay Rate: $30-$35/hr.Location: Stafford, Tx 77477 (Southwest Houston)Job SummaryThe Shop Foreman will oversee daily operations for a sheet metal and HVAC fabrication shop. This hands-on leadership role requires a well-rounded professional who can manage workflow, support multiple departments, lead shop personnel, maintain quality standards, and step in wherever needed to keep production moving.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise daily shop operations, pr oduction schedules, manpower, and job prioritiesLead, train, and support employees across fabrication, assembly, welding, material handling, shipping/receiving, and general shop operationsReview blueprints, shop drawings, work orders, and material requirements to ensure accurate fabricationCoordinate production of HVAC ductwork, fittings, curbs, plenums, transitions, and custom sheet metal productsMonitor workmanship, production output, safety practices, equipment use, and shop organizationAssist with operating shop equipment and performing fabrication duties as neededRequirements3-5 years of sheet metal fabrication and/or commercial HVAC experiencePrior shop foreman experienceStrong knowledge of HVAC ductwork, sheet metal fabrication, and custom fittingsAbility to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, specifications, and work ordersExperience with shop equipment such as brakes, shears, plasma tables, coil lines, Pittsburgh machines, welders, and forklifts #J-18808-Ljbffr Ameritech Staffing Services
