Director of Sales and Marketing

We are seeking a Director of Sales and Marketing to oversee all sales and marketing efforts for our prestigious luxury wedding and event venue. The ideal candidate will be a passionate and experienced leader with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences. They will be responsible for building and executing strategic sales and marketing plans, leading a team of sales consultants, and ensuring the continued success and reputation of our full-service catering and event venue.

Responsibilities

Sales Leadership:

• Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and maximize profitability.
• Lead and mentor a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, training, and support.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through initiative-taking prospecting, networking, and lead generation.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients. Collaborate with clients to understand their unique needs and preferences, providing tailored solutions and exceeding expectations.
• Track sales performance metrics, analyze sales data, and prepare regular reports to monitor progress against sales targets and identify areas for improvement.
• Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and best practices in wedding sales and hospitality to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
• Understand food and beverage costs to ensure profitability and optimize pricing strategies.
• Collaboration & Team Support Recruit, hire, and train a high-performing sales team.
• Provide ongoing coaching, mentorship, and performance reviews to develop team members.

Marketing and Branding:

• Develop and execute effective marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness and drive customer acquisition.
• Manage the development of marketing materials, including brochures, website content, and social media posts.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all channels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in relevant area
• 7+ years' managing teams
• Proven record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM software, and marketing automation tools.
