As a licensed mental health counselor at Elite Coast, you will work within a collaborative virtual team environment, leveraging advanced telehealth tools and electronic health record systems to maintain high-quality service delivery. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations through initial consultations, including detailed preliminary interviews to gain an understanding of clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans based on individual assessments that incorporate therapeutic interventions for individuals, couples, families, and groups.
\n
• Facilitate both individual therapy and group therapy sessions, employing a variety of therapeutic modalities to meet the diverse needs of clients.
\n
• Continuously monitor client progress and adjust treatment approaches as necessary, employing proactive strategies to ensure adherence to recovery plans.
\n
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and nursing staff, to coordinate comprehensive care for clients undergoing treatment.
\n
• Manage referrals efficiently to ensure clients receive additional services, and perform follow-ups with hospital staff regarding hospitalized clients to ensure continuity of care.

• Identify potential roadblocks to recovery, providing guidance and support to clients and their families throughout the therapeutic process.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our counselors work with a diverse population, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing various mental health challenges. The clinic addresses conditions such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and addiction disorders, ensuring that each client receives personalized treatment that aligns with their unique circumstances and needs.

Qualifications\n

• A recognized Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Illinois.

• A satisfactory score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to develop rapport with clients effectively.
\n
• Strong interpersonal skills, with a deep-rooted empathetic nature that fosters effective therapeutic relationships.

Preferred Experience\n

• Demonstrated experience in the mental health field, with a proven track record of working with various populations and presenting issues.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, preferably AVATAR, to ensure accurate record-keeping and efficient workflow.

• Knowledge of the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices and underlying health conditions affecting mental health.

• A comprehensive understanding of how prescribed medications impact mental health.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, complemented by a sign-on bonus.
