In-Home Sales Consultant Benefits & Compensation

• Base salary of $50K$55K during training period, transitioning to commission-based structure
• Successful consultants earn $80K$100K within 1218 months, with top performers reaching $200K+ by year 45
• Commission structure with monthly draw available after training period

In-Home Sales Consultant Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of sales experience (in-home sales preferred)
• 3+ years of outside sales experience strongly desired
• College degree preferred
• Comfortable with CRM software and general computer applications
• Ability to lift and carry samples up to 50 lbs and walk for extended periods
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; outgoing and highly motivated
• Must pass background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screening
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record

In-Home Sales Consultant Preferred Background & Skills

• CRM experience highly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to generate and manage leads independently
• Adaptable, positive attitude, and professional under pressure

In-Home Sales Consultant Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Meet with homeowners to assess needs and deliver informative product presentations
• Prepare quotes, explain pricing, and address customer questions in person
• Proactively generate leads through networking, referrals, and outreach activities
• Accurately price jobs and coordinate orders to maintain profitability and customer satisfaction
• Build and maintain long-term customer relationships, including post-sale service
• Contribute to showroom coverage as needed and participate in ongoing sales training
