Field Service Supervisor

Supervise employees of Service department and coordinate daily schedules, training and activities to the achievement of departmental needs and business goals.

 

1. Qualification / Basic Job Requirements

Educational requirements:
 

High School Diploma or equivalent

working experience required/preferred:
 

5 years in industry related field

Special certification or licenses:

The ability to supervise and lead a team,
Advanced technical understanding,
Excellent organizational Skills,
Excellent English communication skills (a second language would be an asset),
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,
A high level of detail and accuracy,

1. Responsibilities

Supervise Field Service Technicians, monitor their performance and coordinate their schedules

Manage service, installation, commissioning, retrofit, preventative maintenance and warranty visits (for all Aventus technologies)

Support for preparation of quotations for installations, retrofits, service and maintenance visits as required

Verify accuracy and quality of field service reports and ensure all follow-up actions are completed in a timely manner

Work closely with project management prior, during and after installation and commissioning of equipment and retrofits as well as monitoring equipment delivery status

Manage customer complaints and offer solutions or direct their inquiry to the appropriate contact

Follow-up with customers regarding service visits

Coordinate sourcing of Service Engineers from Aventus affiliates

Assist with the recruitment and onboarding of Field Service Technicians including the preparation of training plans and assessments

Manage training for Field Service Technicians according to the matrix of skills

Assist After Sales department to provide customer support, generate quotes, process and confirm orders and follow up on deliveries

Conduct customer site visits as needed
