Position Title: Grounds Maintenance Sales Representative

This role is pivotal in driving business development for landscape, grounds, and snow services within the local market. The ideal candidate will possess a hunter mentality and strong relationship-building skills, essential for engaging with property management companies and other commercial clients. Success in this position requires a proactive approach to generating new business and closing deals. The role offers significant autonomy and encourages face-to-face interactions, making it essential for candidates to have a solid network within the Twin Cities area. This position is well-suited for individuals who thrive in a competitive environment and are passionate about growth and client satisfaction.
Salary Range: $75,000 $125,000 / Year DOE
Responsibilities:
- Prospect and develop new business opportunities
- Build and strengthen relationships with property managers and commercial clients
- Conduct outreach using various platforms and personal networks
- Meet clients onsite and conduct property walkthroughs
- Prepare estimates and present proposals
- Negotiate and close contracts
- Maintain relationships for accounts won and drive growth in the commercial market
- Coordinate with leadership on pricing and reviews
Requirements:
- 2+ years of B2B sales experience
- Valid driver's license
- Experience using CRM software
- Experience in landscape/property management preferred
- Commercial property management, and proposal and estimating experience is preferred
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience selling commercial services preferred
