Business Development Manager

ProspectBlue is seeking a Business Development Manager for a client base in Richmond, VA - one on the East and West Coast! We are looking for a seasoned Business Development Manager to join our growing Business Development team. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in account development, with a deep understanding of the travel and/or insurance industries. As a member of our Business Development team, you will play a crucial role in growing and developing travel accounts within the travel industry vertical. Responsibilities Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with accounts in the travel industry, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth. Client Engagement: Conduct regular meetings and presentations with clients to understand their needs, provide solutions, and promote Faye Travel Insurance products. Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities. Qualifications 4+ years of experience in leading account development activities, specifically B2B2C account development Strong understanding of the travel sector, heavily preferred, including agencies, airlines, cruise lines, hospitality, tour operators and OTAs. Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills. Proven ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships. Strategic thinker with a results-driven approach.
