RN - Acute Care

Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking dedicated Registered Nurses to join our acute care team, where you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Our nursing staff is committed to delivering excellence across various units, including Medical-Surgical and Telemetry, while maintaining a positive and collaborative atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in accordance with established standards and practices.
• Assess patient needs and implement appropriate nursing interventions.
• Maintain effective communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner using Meditech EMR.
• Float to other units or facilities as required to meet patient care needs.
• Participate in continuous education and professional development opportunities.

Requirements

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing or higher.

Certifications

• AHABLS (American Heart Association Basic Life Support).
• American Red Cross Certification (if applicable).
• ACLS certification preferred.

Licenses

• Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Alabama or Compact license (no temporary licenses accepted).

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of overall nursing experience in a specialty area, or 18 months of experience working under the highest level of professional license with 1 year of recent experience in the field of specialty.

Work Schedule

Full-time positions available (36 or 48 hours per week), with required holidays and every other weekend. Nurses will work with a patient ratio of 1:5 or 1:6.
