The unit consists of 16-10 beds with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1 to 4. Candidates should have a strong background in critical care nursing. Common patient diagnoses include: - Sepsis - Heart failure - Hypertensive emergency - Respiratory failure - COPD - Chronic kidney disease - Type 2 diabetes - Substance abuse - Encephalopathy The role requires expertise in managing heparin drips. Qualified applicants must possess the ability to assess and respond to patients' complex medical needs. Candidates should be prepared to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
