Vice President, Institutional Relationships & Capital FormationApex Invest is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Vice President, Institutional Relationships & Capital Formation to lead institutional investor engagement across the Apex Invest capital formation ecosystem.This is a senior, externally facing role responsible for developing and managing relationships with institutional investors, family offices, wealth managers, RIAs, private banks, consultants, and other professional allocators. The successful candidate will help expand allocator participation across the Apex Invest platform, global events, and broader capital formation initiatives, while working closely with the Apex Invest Markets broker-dealer team to support institutional engagement and capital formation activities where appropriate and permissible.The ideal candidate will have a strong institutional capital markets background, significant experience in capital introduction, investor relations, placement, or institutional business development, together with an established network of professional investors across private markets and alternatives.Key ResponsibilitiesLead institutional investor engagement across the Apex Invest platform, global events, and capital formation ecosystem.Develop and maintain relationships with family offices, pension funds, endowments, foundations, sovereign wealth funds, consultants, funds of funds, RIAs, wealth managers, private banks, OCIOs, and other institutional allocators.Expand allocator participation and engagement across the Apex Invest platform and global events.Work with allocators to keep their Apex Invest profiles current, identifying mandates, investment interests, and emerging market trends to strengthen Apex Invest's proprietary matching, content, and market intelligence.Provide insights to the Apex Invest development team pertaining to allocator experience on the platform and respective feedback, contributing to feature roadmap and platform enhancements.Collaborate with the Apex Invest Markets broker-dealer team to support institutional engagement and capital formation activities where applicable and permissible.Build strategic relationships with wealth management platforms, RIAs, private banks, consultants, and institutional distribution partners.Source allocator participation, speakers, and thought leaders for Apex Invest conferences, webinars, podcasts, advisory councils, and industry forums.Drive surveys amongst platform allocators to gauge quarterly insights and portfolio and investment intent shifts.Partner with Marketing to develop institutional content, market intelligence, podcasts, webinars, and thought leadership initiatives.Represent Apex Invest at industry conferences, investor meetings, and strategic partner events globally.Collaborate across the broader Apex ecosystem to identify opportunities supporting Fund Administration, Digital Assets, Tokenization, Custody, and other institutional services.Qualifications10+ years of experience in institutional investor relations, capital introduction, placement, institutional sales, business development, or alternative asset fundraising.Established relationships with institutional investors, family offices, wealth managers, RIAs, private banks, consultants, and other professional allocators.Strong understanding of private equity, venture capital, private credit, infrastructure, real estate, hedge funds, digital assets, co-investments, secondaries, and alternative investments.Experience supporting institutional fundraising, allocator engagement, and due diligence processes.Knowledge of broker-dealer capital formation practices and regulatory considerations is highly desirable.Strong commercial acumen with excellent relationship management, presentation, and communication skills.Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build new relationships and execute in a fast-growing business environment.Preferred BackgroundCandidates may come from organizations such as:Prime Brokerage Capital IntroductionPlacement AgentsAlternative Asset ManagersInstitutional Investor RelationsPrivate BanksFamily Office AdvisoryInstitutional Consulting FirmsWealth Management PlatformsFund DistributionInstitutional SalesSuccess MeasuresGrowth in allocator participation across the Apex Invest platform.Expansion of strategic relationships with institutional investors, family offices, RIAs, wealth managers, private banks, and consultants.Increased allocator attendance, engagement, and GP meeting acceptance at Apex Invest events.Growth in qualified capital formation opportunities for participating fund managers.Development of strategic distribution partnerships across institutional and private wealth channels.Garner insights into allocator needs, trends, and opportunities.Contribution to Apex Invest's position as a leading global capital formation platform and private markets ecosystem.Disclaimer: Unsolicited CVs sent to Apex (Talent Acquisition Team or Hiring Managers) by recruitment agencies will not be accepted for this position.
