Hyperbaric Technologist

Pay Range: $22.05 - $33.08 A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education. HSHS St. Vincent Hospital is seeking a Hyperbaric Technologist to join our Wound/Ostomy Outpatient Clinic. Ideal candidates are patient focused, mission driven caregivers looking for an opportunity to learn and apply clinical knowledge in a fast-paced environment. Position Specifics: • Department: Wound/Ostomy Outpatient Clinic • Core Function: Nursing Support • Schedule: Part time, 24 hrs/wk, Days - No weekends • Facility: St. Vincent Hospital • Location: Green Bay, WI Education Qualifications High School Diploma or GED is required. Experience Qualifications 1-2 years of Hyperbaric and/or Wound Care experience preferred. Certifications, Licenses and Registrations Licensed in the state of practice as a Certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Respiratory Therapist (RT), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), or Medical Assistant (MA) is required. Basic Life Support (BLS) is required. Must obtain certification as Certified Hyperbaric Specialist (CHS), Certified Hyperbaric Technician (CHT), or Dive Medical Technician (DMT) within 36 months of hire. Completion of a National Board of Diving and Hyperbaric Medical Technology approved minimum 40 hour Introductory to Hyperbaric Medicine Training Course within 6 months of hire.
