Downtown Emergency Service Center (DESC) seeks an Accounting Specialist to support accurate, timely financial operations for our housing, shelter, and health services. In this mission-driven, trauma-informed nonprofit, you will process AP/AR, reconcile accounts, prepare journal entries, and assist with month-end close, budgeting, and grant reporting. You will collaborate with program and finance staff to ensure GAAP-compliant, equity-centered financial practices that sustain critical services for people experiencing chronic homelessness, serious mental illness, and substance use disorders in King County.
