Housekeeper - Supervisor

Housekeeping Supervisor Oversee daily housekeeping operations at Hotel Indigo Cleveland Gateway, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Responsibilities Engage with guests to ensure their stay is going well Work as a team to accomplish the goal of resort/hotel cleanliness Coordinate the day’s workflow and distribution of duties Inspect guest rooms following highest quality standards Hold department employees accountable for the highest quality standards Supervise and train staff to ensure that standards of cleanliness are maintained Assist with performing inventory of linen and supplies Assist in completion of performance evaluations Use judgment and experience to distribute work, assign rooms and duties to staff Coordinate activities with Front Desk Supervisor and staff Report maintenance needs accordingly Ensure employees are using and handling cleaning chemicals safely Find coverage for callouts or when house counts increase Perform other related duties as requested by Management Qualifications 6 months experience in a similar Housekeeping position desirable Engaging and caring personality Time management skills Ability to work on feet for an extended period Ability to communicate effectively Ability to read room numbers, dates, and basic instructions Ability to move, traverse, navigate tight spaces, and operate equipment (e.g., spray bottles, vacuums, mops, brooms, dust pans, scrub pads, dusters) weighing up to 100 lbs Lift, carry, and position loads of at least 25 lbs Compensation $17.50 - $18.50 per hour Equal Opportunity Statement Pyramid Global Hospitality is an equal opportunity employer.
