Senior Manufacturing EngineerAs part of our Production engineering team, the Manufacturing Engineer will have the exciting opportunity to work with high precision electrical products and Sensors. CACI is an advanced technologies company serving the U.S. military, intelligence community, and commercial space industry delivering next-generation solutions to support the national security space domain.Responsibilities:Providing technical guidance – Emphasizing quality and safety and fostering a rigorous technical discipline to meet the requirements of high value aerospace parts.Applying lean techniques to support operational excellence, program execution and the organizations goals and objectives.Oversight of equipment including working with equipment operators and maintenance personnel in support of equipment performance and operating documentation.Supporting Capital acquisition planningPlanning, monitoring and troubleshooting manufacturing operations related to circuit cards, mechanical and electro-optical assembliesReviewing and approving product designs and drawings for manufacturability and identifying tooling and fixture requirementsDesigning, reviewing, and approving tooling and fixtures and developing the processes for using themDeveloping and maintaining work instructions and manufacturing process documentationEnsuring manufacturing processes are capable of meeting approved design requirements and revising or developing new processes as required.Working in a cross-functional team while developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external customers and suppliersQualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Engineering; a concentration in Electrical Engineering is preferred5-10 yrs of electric or mechanical engineering assembly experiencePlanning, Monitoring, and troubleshooting manufacturing operations related to circuit cards, mechanical, and electro-optical assembliesReviewing, approving, product designs and tooling drawings for manufacturabilityDeveloping and maintaining electronic work instruction documentationFamiliarity with IPC J-Standard and NASA Standards for soldering, conformal coating, and cablingStrong prioritization and organization skills with the ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining a high degree of flexibilityAbility to lead problem solving teams and drive results through root cause corrective action toolsDesired:Prior experience in the aerospace or defense industryExperience interfacing with an ERP system like SAPExperience with paperless manufacturing systemsExperience with laser or optical sensing systemsExperience with CCA Board design or Cabling and harness fabricationWhat You Can Expect:A culture of integrity.At CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
