Live-Out Nanny Needed for Delightful 22-Month-Old – Full-Time (Weston, CT)

A warm and loving family in Weston is seeking an exceptional full-time, live-out nanny for their delightful 22-month-old child. This is a unique opportunity for a compassionate, creative, and dependable caregiver who enjoys engaging toddlers through play, learning, and meaningful activities. This is a doctor’s family.
The child is immunocompromised, so the ideal candidate will understand the importance of maintaining a healthy environment and exercising extra care and reliability. The family is looking for someone proactive, nurturing, and able to create enriching days at home filled with art, music, sensory play, cooking, reading, and other age-appropriate activities.
The perfect candidate would be able to take on responsibility for some trips from Weston to Yale in New Haven for medical appointments, which may last up to 4 hours.
Schedule
- Monday–Friday OR four days/week
- 40 hours per week
- Either four 10-hour days or five 8-hour days (to be determined with the family)
- Typical hours fall between no earlier than 8:00 AM and no later than 6:00 PM
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Be warm, engaging, and genuinely enjoy working with toddlers
- Be a self-starter who takes initiative without needing constant direction
- Be highly creative and able to plan fun, developmentally appropriate activities at home
- Be extremely reliable, organized, and proactive
- Understand the unique challenges of caring for an immunocompromised child
- Have a clean driving record and be comfortable driving between Weston and New Haven as needed
