Job Title: Senior HR Generalist Salary: $65,000-$75,000 Location: Akron, Ohio Why This Opportunity Stands Out (Senior HR Generalist) Serve as a strategic business partner with direct impact on organizational culture, employee engagement, workforce planning, and compliance initiatives Lead a broad HR function encompassing employee relations, benefits administration, compensation, performance management, and risk management Partner closely with executive leadership to shape HR strategy and drive organizational success Join a collaborative environment where you can influence key initiatives involving talent development, succession planning, and employee retention Key Responsibilities (Senior HR Generalist) Oversee HR compliance initiatives, employee relations matters, workplace investigations, and risk management programs Develop, implement, and communicate HR policies and procedures while ensuring compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations Partner with leadership on workforce planning, succession planning, performance management, and employee development initiatives Administer employee benefits programs, leave management processes, accommodations, disability programs, and HRIS systems Support compensation administration, job description management, and employee lifecycle process improvements Coach and advise supervisors and managers on employee relations, performance management, conflict resolution, and policy application Lead employee training programs related to safety, harassment prevention, ethics, leadership development, and workplace compliance Utilize HR data, reporting, and technology to identify trends, improve processes, and support business objectives Qualifications (Senior HR Generalist) Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field preferred 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience with exposure to employee relations, compliance, benefits administration, and HR operations Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and HR best practices Experience conducting workplace investigations and supporting conflict resolution initiatives Proficiency with HRIS platforms, Microsoft Office applications, and HR technology tools Excellent communication, leadership, analytical, and relationship management skills #LI-DO2 #INSEP2026 #HumanResourcesManager #HRJobs #HumanResources #LeadershipJobs #OhioJobs #J-18808-Ljbffr
