Builder Territory Manager

Maintain and increase Shaw's profitability and market share in a geographical area Develop customer relationships through knowledge, service, trust, and integrity Implement major market programs and services and place samples Make daily sales calls on existing customers, emphasizing surface flooring products, samples, displays, adhesives, and related floor products Present products to retail dealers, designers, and end-users Analyze leads provided by corporate reports Sell and construct display racks weighing 50 lbs or more on a regular basis Prospect for viable new accounts and monitor activity within the designated geographic area Prepare business transaction, sales volume, potential sales, and periodic sales reports Communicate actual sales information, goals, competitive market conditions, and product needs Review territory computer reports to analyze sales statistics, formulate goals, and assist dealers in promoting sales Control travel, entertainment, and sample expenditures within budget requirements Enter customer interactions and key information into Salesforce.com Sell and promote residential products, including Shaw Floors, A/T, and Philly Commercial Educate customers on Shaw products Requirements High School Diploma/GED Previous flooring sales experience Ability to interface with a diverse group of customers in a friendly and respectable manner Ability to use a laptop computer and basic Microsoft Windows software, including MS Office Ability to assemble and take down display fixtures Must travel in a van or approved SUV capable of carrying several product sample boards Must be able to lift more than 50 lbs on a regular basis Must reside within the territory: Lakeland, Ocala, Daytona, or Orlando, FL Core Competencies Demonstrates strong sales acumen in flooring products, with a focus on customer relationship management and territory analysis. Proficient in utilizing Salesforce.com for tracking sales activities and reporting.
