Job DescriptionJob Description Respiratory Therapist (RT) Respiratory Therapist (RT) Schedule Saturday and Sunday Coverage Respiratory Therapist (RT) Looking for a full time talented and motivated Respiratory Therapist to join our dynamic team. The position is within a Skilled Nursing facility. Candidate should possess passion for geriatric population, must contain a license in the state of practice, be able to evaluate and treat independently without direct supervision, and posses the desire to perform functional therapeutic activities to assist residents improve in their experience. Respiratory Therapist (RT) Job Description Completes assessments and implements Respiratory technique to maintain or rehab patient with many different Respiratory illness/diseases.Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate, check, and assemble equipmentComplete a variety of bedside treatmentsComplete in-services for nursing staff every quarterResponsible for completing daily, weekly and monthly documentationAttend applicable IDT meetingsExperience with tracheotomyExperience is a long term care settingFollow procedure and protocol of facilityCompletes tracking, auditing and caseload managementPerforms related duties as required Respiratory Therapist (RT) QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program.
