Operations Finance Manager

Overview Of The Role Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities. Support accounting functions including inventory, product costing, fixed assets, depreciation, freight, maintenance, and operating expenses. Analyze financial results and identify trends impacting business performance. Assist with margin and profitability reporting across multiple locations. Support ERP system enhancements and financial reporting improvements. Contribute to capital expenditure evaluations and investment analysis. Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes. Develop financial models and business cases to support strategic initiatives. Analyze profitability by product line, business segment, and operational area. Create and maintain executive dashboards, KPIs, and management reporting tools. Provide actionable insights to support operational and commercial decision-making. Partner closely with manufacturing, operations, and commercial leadership teams. Participate in leadership meetings to understand key business drivers and financial performance. Evaluate cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiency initiatives. Deliver data-driven recommendations that improve profitability and support growth objectives. Assist with cross-functional projects focused on process improvement and business performance. Support financial analysis for capital investments and expansion projects. Evaluate cash flow implications and working capital impacts of business decisions. Assist in developing financial strategies that align with organizational goals. Support year-end audit activities and financial compliance requirements. Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting policies, and financial procedures. Drive continuous improvement in financial reporting, data integrity, and system utilization. Assist with special projects and additional finance initiatives as needed. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required. CPA, CMA, or similar professional designation preferred. 6+ years of experience in FP&A, Controlling, Operational Finance, Cost Accounting, Public Accounting, or a related finance function. Manufacturing, industrial, or capital-intensive industry experience strongly preferred. Experience working within ERP systems; SAP experience is a plus. Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
