Work Environment\n

This full-time position is fully remote, granting you the flexibility to conduct your therapeutic work from the comfort of your home, while still engaging with a talented team of professionals. Our work hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening and weekend shifts on a rotational basis. This structure allows you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while still providing essential services to those in need.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to accurately evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms presented by clients.

• Collaborate closely with clients to create individualized treatment plans that align with their specific needs, goals, and preferences, employing a client-centered approach.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) tailored for mood disorders.

• Educate and empower clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to enhance their mental health.

• Monitor client progress throughout the treatment journey, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations.

• Work in unity with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to ensure a holistic and integrated care approach for each patient.

• Stay informed about the latest research and developments in mood disorders to continually refine treatment approaches based on best practices.

• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation of client sessions, assessments, and treatment plans, adhering strictly to legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development initiatives to enhance your clinical skills and knowledge.

• Advocate for clients by promoting de-stigmatization efforts regarding mood disorders and facilitating access to necessary mental health resources.

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals affected by mood disorders including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT within the state of New York.

• Exceptional communication skills, enabling effective rapport-building with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n
