- Clean, decontaminate, and sterilize surgical instruments and medical devices using appropriate techniques and equipment.
- Inspect and assemble instrument trays according to department procedures.
- Operate autoclaves and other sterilization equipment safely and accurately.
- Maintain proper documentation of sterilization processes and quality assurance checks.
- Ensure all items are properly labeled, stored, and ready for surgical procedures.
- Collaborate with surgical and nursing teams to ensure timely delivery of sterile supplies.
