Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A rewarding contract opportunity is available for an experienced Special Education Teacher with a passion for supporting diverse learners. In this full-time role, you’ll work in collaborative school environments serving a varied caseload across multiple age groups. The assignment begins in early September and runs through early June, offering the chance to build connections and provide consistency throughout the academic year.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Wisconsin Special Education licensure (required)
- Comfortable with cross-categorical teaching and adapting to support a range of disabilities
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Previous experience working in an educational setting with elementary, middle, high school, or early childhood special education preferred
- Strong communication skills for working with students, families, and a multidisciplinary team
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction to students across high school, middle school, elementary, and early childhood (cross-categorical groups)
- Modify curriculum and instructional techniques tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to foster inclusive environments
- Track student progress and maintain accurate data for IEP documentation
- Participate in meetings, assessments, and ongoing professional development
