Associate Attorney – Civil Litigation Location: Madison, Wisconsin Schedule: Full-Time | On-Site Compensation: $110,000-$150,000 + Excellent Benefits About the Opportunity We are partnering with a highly respected law firm in Madison to hire an Associate Attorney to join its growing civil litigation practice. This is an outstanding opportunity for an attorney with 0-3 years of experience who is eager to build a long-term career in litigation while working alongside an experienced and collaborative team. The firm is seeking someone who is intellectually curious, possesses exceptional writing abilities, and thrives in a team-oriented environment. This role offers exposure to both state and federal litigation matters and provides meaningful opportunities to develop litigation skills from the early stages of a case through resolution. What You'll Be Doing Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, briefs, and memoranda Assist with case strategy development and litigation planning Participate in discovery, including drafting and responding to written discovery requests Support depositions, hearings, and trial preparation Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in litigation matters Collaborate closely with attorneys across a variety of cases and practice areas Manage assignments efficiently while maintaining exceptional attention to detail Approximately 80% of this role involves legal research and writing.
