MB Attorney Search is conducting a confidential search for a Trusts & Estates Attorney to join a well-established Wisconsin law firm with a sophisticated estate planning practice in either their Madison or Milwaukee office. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney who enjoys developing long-term client relationships, solving complex planning challenges, and helping individuals, families, business owners, and fiduciaries navigate estate planning and wealth transfer matters. The practice offers a broad mix of sophisticated planning, trust and estate administration, business succession planning, and related tax matters, along with meaningful client contact and opportunities for continued professional growth. Responsibilities Advise individuals, families, business owners, and fiduciaries on estate planning, wealth transfer, and business succession matters. Draft and review wills, trusts, powers of attorney, marital property agreements, and other estate planning documents. Assist clients with trust and estate administration, probate proceedings, and fiduciary matters. Support sophisticated estate, gift, generation-skipping transfer, and income tax planning strategies. Prepare or review federal estate and gift tax returns and related filings. Collaborate with clients, accountants, financial advisors, and attorneys across related practice areas to develop practical, customized planning solutions. Build trusted client relationships while providing thoughtful, business-oriented legal counsel. Qualifications Experience representing clients in estate planning, trust and estate administration, business succession planning, and/or related tax matters. Strong drafting, analytical, and client counseling skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Strong academic credentials and sound professional judgment.
