Operators work independently and as part of a team to move material efficiently while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and equipment care.This is considered a safety sensitive position therefore will be subject to random drug testing as required.Schedule:Night Shift: Monday through Friday, 2:30 PM to 2:30 AMShift premium applicableMajor holidays off with holiday payKey Responsibilities:Work safely and follow all company safety policies, procedures, and operating standardsPerform pre-operational inspections and promptly report equipment concernsOperate assigned equipment, including scrapers, dozers, graders, haul trucks, excavators, and other support equipment as trainedMove material safely and efficiently to support mining, reclamation, and production objectivesMonitor equipment performance and identify potential maintenance issuesMaintain equipment cleanliness and perform basic routine servicing as requiredAssist with material handling and other operational tasks as neededWork effectively with supervisors, maintenance personnel, and fellow operatorsMaintain accurate production and equipment records as requiredQualificationsEducation:High school diploma or equivalentKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:Heavy equipment operating experience is preferred but not required; training will be providedStrong commitment to safety and dependable attendanceAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWillingness to learn and develop operating skills on multiple types of equipmentAbility to work outdoors in varying weather and site conditionsAbility to read, write, speak, and understand EnglishWorking Conditions:Outdoor work in a mining environment with exposure to varying weather conditionsModerate to heavy physical demands, including climbing, lifting, and equipment inspectionsThis is a safety-sensitive position and is subject to applicable drug testing requirementsWe are looking for individuals who value safety, take pride in their work, and want to be part of a team-focused operation with a consistent schedule and strong work-life balance.
