CNC Operator
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our team at Pulva Corporation. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC milling machines to produce precision parts according to specifications. The ideal candidate has experience with machining, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce parts to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine machining requirements.
- Select and install correct tools, fixtures, and machine settings for optimal performance.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure accuracy, quality, and efficiency.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot minor machine issues.
- Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety procedures.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production deadlines.
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience as a CNC Operator or in a similar machining role.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Experience with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
- Familiarity with Mastercam and G-code programming is a plus but not required.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or apprenticeship preferred.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- 4 day a week schedule
- No nights or weekends
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Exposure to machine shop environment (noise, metal shavings, lubricants).
- Requires wearing protective gear (safety glasses, gloves, etc.).
