Learn more at The Johnson & Johnson Medical Devices Company, a member of the Johnson & Johnson family of companies is currently recruiting for a Senior Manager, New Product Development Supply Chain Procurement!Responsibilities:Partner with Value Stream Leaders to understand business strategy and develop long-term sourcing strategy to improve supply reliability and optimize material costs for key growth productsLead Market Engagement Programs to support competitive bidding for Make vs. Buy assessments, NPI supplier selection, and targeted component spend areas across Electronics, External Manufacturing, Direct Precision Material and Packaging CategoriesOrchestrate of category/supplier management performed by the categories and oversight for the execution delivery of the strategic plan and business plan, in line with expectations put forth by BWI SC, Quality, R&D and Commercial functionsSupport 5+ strategic sourcing initiatives simultaneously across multiple products, global procurement categories, and geographiesResponsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management levelLead multiple complex supplier negotiations simultaneously. Coordinate with key stakeholders, drive terms that are favorable for Biosense, and hand off stabilized products, contracts and suppliers to base business sourcing teams.Lead SOURCE due diligence and transaction support for the Biosense business development teams for both product supply/distribution and acquisition activities.Optimize quality, supply reliability, innovation and cost through early supplier engagement during product development.Drive innovation through identifying and developing external partner capabilities to meet future technology needs.For those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicableResponsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and proceduresPerforms other duties assigned as neededQualifications:Education: A minimum of a Bachelor’s and/or University degree is required; Advanced degree preferredRequired:A minimum of eight (8) years of relevant professional work experienceExperience in a Procurement, Supply Chain/Operations, Quality, R&D or Engineering fieldExperience in Medical Devices or related industryExcellent negotiating skills, should cost modeling and other cost management tools preferredStrong communication, influencing, and interpersonal skillsProven track record of project management, change management, and developing sourcing strategiesAbility to engage at the leadership level with both Suppliers and within J&JAbility to absorb and analyze information to solve complex problems quicklyAbility to lead cross-functional teams to drive projects to successful completionStrong business acumenExcellent interpersonal skills – excellent written, oral, and presentation skillsStrong Credo valuesProven ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to get desired resultsCustomer focus (internal & external)Preferred:Procurement experience working with components and products related to Electrophysiology industryDiverse procurement experience across category sourcing, new product development sourcing or other sourcing areasProfessional (APICS, ISM, Six Sigma) CertificationAdaptable to meet rapidly changing prioritiesOther:May require up to 25% domestic and/or international travel to other locations and sitesJohnson & Johnson is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
