Supply Chain Manager
The Supply Chain Manager (SCM) is responsible for leading Go!Foton's North American sourcing and supply chain strategy, including supplier and contract manufacturer relationship management. This role is critical to building and sustaining a world-class supplier base that supports a profitable, competitive, and scalable product portfolio. Reporting to the Vice President of Product Line Management, the SCM works cross-functionally with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Business Development, and global Supply Chain teams based in the Philippines and Nanjing, China. The SCM develops and manages a North American supply chain that delivers a reliable, cost-competitive flow of materials, components, and contract manufacturing services while meeting Go!Foton's standards for quality, performance, and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, qualify, and negotiate with suppliers and contract manufacturers to ensure competitive cost, quality, and performance.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term supplier relationships to support business continuity and growth.
- Conduct quarterly supplier business reviews to drive KPI performance, including lead time, on-time delivery (OTD), quality, flexibility, and production support.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for materials, components, and manufacturing assembly services.
- Analyze market conditions, global supply trends, and supplier capabilities to optimize sourcing decisions.
- Lead contract negotiations, including pricing, terms, and conditions.
- Drive cost-reduction initiatives and continuous cost optimization across the supply chain.
- Ensure cost-effective procurement through process improvements, negotiations, and supplier collaboration.
- Coordinate logistics activities from suppliers to manufacturing sites, 3rd party logistics (3PL) warehouses, and/or customers.
- Oversee inventory management, warehousing, and distribution strategies to support demand and minimize risk.
- Oversee quality control processes across supplier, 3PL, and contract manufacturing operations.
- Conduct periodic audits, inspections, and process assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Quality teams to resolve supplier-related quality issues.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including geopolitical, economic, environmental, and operational risks.
- Develop contingency plans to ensure supply continuity.
- Ensure compliance with trade regulations, tariffs, environmental standards, and ethical sourcing requirements.
- Monitor and analyze supply chain KPIs, including supplier performance, inventory turns, and delivery timelines.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to leadership based on data analysis.
- Partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, Finance, Operations, and Sales to align supply chain strategies with business objectives.
- Identify inefficiencies and lead initiatives to improve processes, systems, and supplier performance.
- Implement best practices, tools, and technologies to optimize the supply chain.

Required Knowledge & Capabilities
- Extensive knowledge of the North American OEM and contract manufacturing landscape.
- Strong understanding of strategic sourcing methodologies and supplier management best practices.
- Proven ability to manage and develop strategic supplier relationships.
- Excellent negotiation skills, including contract terms and conditions.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate market and performance data.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible, adaptable, and comfortable navigating change and uncertainty.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sourcing, supply chain management, or a related role.
- Experience with OEM suppliers and Contract Manufacturers within the North American market is required.

Travel
- Travel required up to 25–40%, including frequent visits to North American supplier locations and occasional travel to China and the Philippines.
Physical Demands
- Frequent standing, walking, sitting, and use of hands and arms.
- Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
Work Environment
- Frequent travel to supplier manufacturing facilities.
- Position may be performed remotely (home office); however, working from Go!Foton's Somerset, NJ headquarters is strongly preferred.
- If remote, regular visits to the Somerset, NJ headquarters will be required.
