The position is for night shifts and involves 12-hour shifts. The nurse to patient ratio is 1:6. The role includes rapid response team activation. Travelers who are first-time applicants are accepted. Epic is the charting system used in the unit. There is no call required and floating to like units may occur. Candidates must be able to work weekends, with a requirement of 6 weekend shifts within a 6-week period. The unit has a daily census of 32 patients. Interdisciplinary support includes various specialized teams. Patient demographics include adults and geriatrics. This position requires handling various medical procedures and patient care tasks as outlined in the must-have skills.
