Unit: Interventional Radiology
Location: Englewood, CO
Number of Beds: 5 Interventional Radiology suites
Team Structure
Day Shift: 8A - 6:30P
On-Call: 1 night per week and 1 weekend per month
Patient Ratios: 2 IR Technologists and 1 IR Registered Nurse
Equipment
4 Siemens Bi-plane systems
1 Siemens Single plane
EMR: Meditech
PACS: GE Centricity
Qualifications
Required Skills:
Minimum 6 months of current acute care hospital experience as an IR Technologist
ARRT (R) certification
BLS certification
Preferred Skills:
Experience in neuro-interventional procedures (e.g., strokes, aneurysms, subarachnoid hemorrhage)
Expert knowledge of vascular interventional radiology procedures with minimal guidance
Typical Procedures
Neuro: Comprehensive Stroke Center procedures (e.g., strokes, aneurysms, subarachnoid hemorrhage)
Level 1 Trauma Center procedures (e.g., gastrointestinal bleeding, embolization, gastronomy tubes, nephrostomy)
Personality Fit
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and thrive in a fast-paced interventional lab team environment.
Additional Information
On-call duties are required for 1 night per week and 1 rotating weekend per month, with possible coverage during holidays. Consider this opportunity to work with advanced technology and be part of a dedicated team focused on delivering exceptional patient care.
