Overview Fleet Mechanic III - Avenel, NJ. This role supports our Avenel, NJ. Fleet Shop. Responsibilities Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and necessary repairs to automobiles, trucks (light and heavy), trailers, vans and forklifts. Disassemble and overhauls motors, transmissions, clutches, rear ends and electrical systems. Complete all necessary documents, including vehicle records. Manage ordering and inventory of parts. Mentor to the class I & II mechanics. Shift and Schedule Monday through Friday 5:00am until 1:30pm or finished Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed About You We are looking for a self-motivated individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. Total Rewards Pay starting at $33.36 per hour. Requirements High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred 1 year or more of mechanic experience on a fleet Must be able to work on all types of vehicles (diesel trucks, electric and propane forklift, etc...)
