Step into an exciting role supporting preschool-aged students near Providence, RI! We're seeking a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist with a deep commitment to early childhood education and expertise in both school and healthcare settings. This is a contract opportunity, offering the chance to make a meaningful impact on a diverse caseload of 40 preschool children in a supportive, forward-thinking environment.
Your knowledge of pediatric speech-language pathology and experience working with young learners will help students communicate with confidence and reach key developmental milestones.
Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license (MA required)
- DESE certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred
- Experience in school-based and pediatric SLP settings
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored speech and language therapy services to a caseload of 40 preschool students
- Develop, implement, and update individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student goals and progress
- Monitor, document, and report on each child’s development and outcomes
- Participate in team meetings and workshops, remaining current with best practices in pediatric speech therapy
