Provides quality patient care through diagnostic imaging in a fast‑paced hospital setting. Ensures adherence to safety, confidentiality, and departmental protocols while maintaining efficient workflow. Requires formal radiologic technology training, valid Illinois license, and ARRT registration or eligibility. Proficient in basic X‑ray exams; may operate multiple modalities including OR X‑ray, GI fluoroscopy, ECG, or phlebotomy. Works collaboratively with radiologists, assists in procedures, and documents activities accurately. Maintains equipment, supplies, and logs, while supporting student training.
