We invest in your development and give you the opportunity to help build sustainable solutions that make a real impact.We are looking for a Service Manager who, with strong leadership, organizational skills, and customer focus, will take our service department to the next level.In this role, you combine people management with operational and commercial responsibility, working closely with Sales and Project teams.### Your challengeAs a Service Manager, you are ultimately responsible for the daily operations and performance of the service department.You lead the service team, manage planning and capacity, optimize processes, and ensure high-quality and profitable service delivery.In addition, you act as an escalation point for customers and actively contribute to commercial growth through service contracts, cross-selling, and value-added services.### **Leadership & Team Management**### **Planning & Capacity Management*** Defining work planning and customer priorities* Leading and optimizing the planning team* Efficient deployment of people, resources, and materials* Close alignment with project teams regarding resources and shared capacities### **Service & Customer Focus*** Acting as the central escalation point for customers* Monitoring service quality, response times, and customer satisfaction* Contributing ideas for improvements and added value for customers### **Operational & Financial Management*** Managing and reporting service performance and KPIs* Controlling operational costs* Contributing to the determination of pricing for service activities* Responsible for warehouse and inventory management within the service department### **Collaboration with Sales & Projects*** Close collaboration with Sales on: + Service contracts + Cross-selling and upselling + Value-added services* Ensuring smooth cooperation between service, sales, and project teams### **Technical & Professional Competencies*** Affinity with industrial electrical installations (low, medium, and potentially high voltage)* Senior experience in a similar service or maintenance environment* Strong organizational and analytical skills* Insight into cost structures, profitability, and service processes* Good knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems (Business Central/Navision or similar)### **Soft Skills*** Strong leader with excellent people skills* Strong communicator and team connector* Customer-focused and solution-oriented* Stress-resistant and decisive* Hands-on, pragmatic, and results-driven* Able to align and balance multiple internal and external stakeholders### **SHEQ*** Support the organization’s quality, safety, and environmental management system in the context of continuous improvement* Actively ensure compliance with safety and quality standards* Coach and support employees in working safely and with quality awareness* Day-to-day management of the service team (technicians, planners, and support roles)* Coaching, motivating, and developing employees* Creating clear structure, responsibilities, and working agreements* Acting as the internal point of contact for operational escalations* Permanent contract* Attractive salary with lots of benefits (company car, meal vouchers, hospitalization insurance, group insurance, ...)* A key role within a growing and future-oriented service organization* A high level of autonomy with room for initiative and entrepreneurship* Close collaboration with motivated colleagues across service, sales, and project teams* A work environment where innovation, safety, and sustainability are key.### Attention required!
