Job Title: Quality Inspector – 1st Shift (Manufacturing)

Pay: $25.22 – $29.48 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, plus overtime (including Saturdays) as needed
Location: Poway CA
Job Type: Full-time

About the Role
We’re hiring an experienced Quality Inspector to support a tube manufacturing operation. You’ll inspect materials, parts, and finished products to make sure they meet specifications, blueprints, and customer requirements before they ship. If you have 3+ years of mechanical inspection experience and take pride in getting the details right, we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

• Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections using standard measuring and inspection tools
• Read and work from blueprints, customer drawings, product specifications, and work instructions
• Complete first article inspections (FAI) on new or changed products
• Conduct physical properties testing using QA lab and customer-supplied test equipment
• Calibrate inspection, measuring, and test equipment (IM&TE)
• Identify, tag, and contain nonconforming material using NCM, DMR, and DRA processes, including scrapping after disposition
• Maintain product and inspection traceability, including customer-supplied product
• Provide final QA sign-off and release product to ship
• Track inventory and order QA lab supplies, small tools, and equipment
• Keep the QA lab clean, organized, and up to housekeeping standards

What You Need

• 3+ years of mechanical inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to read blueprints and follow quality plans and procedures
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to work mandatory overtime, including Saturdays, based on business needs

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

• Lift up to 25 lbs; moderate to heavy physical effort
• Sit, stand, reach, and walk throughout the facility
• Work in both shop floor and office settings
• Exposure to metals, lubricants, solvents, electrolytes, and other industrial materials
• Safety glasses and safety shoes required; additional PPE (goggles, ear protection, face shield, apron, gloves, rubber boots) depending on task
• Company-provided uniform shirt required
