Sales & Use Tax Specialist POST NUMBER: 485649
$50 - $55 per hourWe are seeking an Interim Sales & Use Tax / Accountant to support a leading beverage packaging and manufacturing organization. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of sales and use tax compliance while supporting broader accounting functions within a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all sales and use tax filings and related compliance requirements
- Maintain and monitor filing schedules, deadlines, and tax obligations
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation and submission of required tax filings
- Support general accounting activities, including G/L accounting and other ad hoc accounting projects
- Assist the accounting team during periods of fluctuating tax workload
- Maintain organized documentation and records related to tax compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
- Experience handling sales and use tax compliance and filings
- Accounting background with exposure to general ledger accounting or related accounting functions
