Sales & Use Tax Specialist

We are seeking an Interim Sales & Use Tax / Accountant to support a leading beverage packaging and manufacturing organization. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of sales and use tax compliance while supporting broader accounting functions within a fast-paced production environment.Key ResponsibilitiesManage all sales and use tax filings and related compliance requirementsMaintain and monitor filing schedules, deadlines, and tax obligationsEnsure timely and accurate preparation and submission of required tax filingsSupport general accounting activities, including G/L accounting and other ad hoc accounting projectsAssist the accounting team during periods of fluctuating tax workloadMaintain organized documentation and records related to tax complianceQualificationsBachelor's Degree in Accounting or related fieldExperience handling sales and use tax compliance and filingsAccounting background with exposure to general ledgeraccounting or related accounting functionsLos Angeles, CA, USOn-SiteRetail Trade Vaco$ 50.00 - 55.00 hourly contractor
