This high acuity role involves working on the Surgery Trauma floor within a dynamic environment, providing care to a diverse patient population including surgical, gunshots, quads, and paraplegics.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Provide expert care for patients on a high acuity Surgery Trauma floor
• Collaborate with Nursing Support Techs for optimal patient care
• Manage a nurse-to-patient ratio of 5:1
• Perform handoffs with ED nurse and admitting unit
• Utilize the EPIC system for patient documentation

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Valid RN license
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical specialty
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Proficiency with EPIC system
