This role focuses on providing care in a medical/surgical admission unit, where you will work with general medical and surgical patients awaiting surgery. Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Manage a patient ratio of 5:1 in a 10-bed unit
• Care for general medical patients and surgical patients awaiting surgery
• Facilitate rapid patient admissions to ensure efficient turnover
• Communicate clearly and effectively with patients and team members
• Work independently in a fast-paced environment

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Current RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of experience in medical/surgical specialty
• Work history with no gaps greater than 60 days
• Completion of a skills checklist
• References and Nursys license verification
