Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to understand clients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans that detail therapeutic interventions and expected outcomes.

• Actively support clients through various therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), adapting strategies to suit individual client needs.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support services when clients experience acute emotional distress, ensuring their safety and emotional stability.

• Maintain comprehensive and confidential documentation of each client’s treatment journey, including progress notes, treatment plans, and referrals, in compliance with HIPAA and ethical standards.

• Serve as a knowledgeable resource for clients, helping them access community resources and social services that support their ongoing well-being and recovery.
\n
• Participate in team meetings and case consultations to foster a coordinated approach to client care, ensuring that all team members are informed and aligned on treatment goals.

• Engage in community outreach activities designed to increase awareness of mental health resources, effectively building referral networks and partnership opportunities.

You will work with a diverse client base, primarily within school settings, addressing a wide array of issues that may include anxiety, depression, behavior problems, trauma, and other mental health concerns that affect students' academic performance and overall life experiences. Qualifications\n

• A current and valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential in the state of Kansas is required for this position.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or a closely related field is essential.

• A minimum of four years of relevant experience in clinical social work, preferably in an outpatient or school-based mental health setting.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to foster trust, rapport, and a positive therapeutic relationship with clients and their families.

• Demonstrated commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards in client confidentiality and professional practice.

• Ability to function independently as well as collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

• Demonstrated experience with school-aged children and adolescent mental health interventions is preferred.

• Previous training in trauma-informed care and culturally responsive practices will be advantageous.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems to facilitate efficient documentation and care coordination.

Compensation and Benefits\n
