Carolina QuickCare is hiring a Float Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our growing urgent care network across Coastal North Carolina.

This is a full-time float role. You will rotate between Carolina QuickCare clinics across Coastal North Carolina, including locations in the Wilmington, Brunswick County, and eastern NC corridor. Float providers are essential to keeping our clinics fully staffed and our patients covered every day of the week.

What You Will Do

• Evaluate and treat patients presenting with acute illnesses and injuries in a walk-in urgent care setting
• Perform minor procedures including laceration repair, splinting, abscess drainage, and foreign body removal
• Order and interpret diagnostic imaging and laboratory studies
• Complete all medical records on the same day of the patient visit
• Collaborate with on-site clinical and administrative teams across multiple locations

What We Are Looking For

• Active North Carolina medical license (or eligibility to obtain)
• Board certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C)
• DOT Medical Examiner certification (or willingness to complete within 6 weeks of start)
• Prior urgent care, emergency department, or fast-paced primary care experience preferred
• Confident working as an autonomous provider in a high-volume clinic environment
• Willing to travel between clinic locations within the Coastal NC region
