Principal DevOps Engineer

You must be local to one of them to be considered for candidacy as we can not provide any relocation packages at this time.We are looking for a Principal DevOps Engineer to join our enablement team and lead the design, evolution, and scaling of our CI/CD platforms and engineering productivity initiatives. This role will drive architectural decisions, standardization, and adoption of modern DevOps and AI practices across multiple product teams.You will work closely with engineering leadership, architects, and product teams to build secure, scalable, and efficient delivery pipelines that enable continuous development and high-quality releases.In this role, you will: Platform & ArchitectureDefine and drive the DevOps platform strategy across CI/CD, build systems, and release engineeringArchitect scalable and resilient pipelines using tools like TeamCity, Jenkins, or similarEstablish standards for pipeline design, modularity, and reusabilityCI/CD & Automation Design and implement end-to-end CI/CD pipelines for multiple product linesDrive adoption of automation-first practices across build, test, and release workflowsOptimize build performance, reliability, and scalabilitySecurity & Compliance Integrate security practices (SAST, secrets management, dependency scanning) into pipelinesDefine and enforce best practices for secure software deliveryEnsure alignment with frameworks such as SAMM, SOC2, etc.Infrastructure & Cloud Lead implementation of infrastructure-as-code using tools like: TerraformKubernetesAnsibleManage and optimize cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP)Developer Productivity Improve developer experience by reducing build times and simplifying workflowsIntroduce self-service capabilities for engineering teamsDrive adoption of modern tooling and best practicesObservability & Reliability Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for CI/CD systemsEnsure high availability and performance of DevOps platformsLeadership & Influence Act as a technical leader and mentor for DevOps and engineering teamsCollaborate with architects and senior engineers to drive platform decisionsInfluence cross-team adoption of standards and best practicesYour background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field8+ years of experience in DevOps, Build Engineering, or Platform EngineeringDeep expertise in: CI/CD tools (TeamCity, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)Build systems (Gradle, Maven, Ant)Strong experience with: Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)Proficiency in scripting/programming: Python, Bash, PowerShell, or JavaAdditionally, it would be beneficial if you have: Secrets management (Akeyless, Vault)Artifact repositories (Artifactory, Nexus)Security tools (Veracode, Polaris, BlackDuckSonarQube)Large-scale enterprise environmentsMulti-product CI/CD ecosystemsApplied use prompt engineering to effectively leverage AI across the SDLCBase Salary Range: $163,850 - $185,000This position is also eligible to participate in our performance-based annual corporate bonus plan. Final base compensation is determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, education, demonstrable experience, and allowance for future and continued salary growth.
