Assistant Manager Casino Slots Full Time (Caesars LV) Las Vegas, NV, United States (On-site) Job Summary The Assistant Casino Manager-Slots is responsible for supervising Slot Staff, verifying transactions and payouts, and assisting the Casino Manager-Slots. Monitors compliance with all established companies, departments, and regulatory agency rules and regulations; provides training feedback, and disciplinary action regarding these rules and regulations. How You Will Create the Extraordinary Responsible for monitoring staffing levels, bank/floor assignments, daily and weekly schedules to include breaks. Directly responsible for training slot employees, providing each with knowledge and appropriate directions to perform his/her responsibilities. Monitors compliance with all established companies, departments, and regulatory agency rules and regulations; provides training feedback, and disciplinary action regarding these rules and regulations. Provides each employee with clear directives needed to meet departmental standards and achieve departmental and company goals. Exhibits sound decision‑making qualities, motivates personnel, and exhibits effective supervisory skills. Assists in performing jackpot and fill transactions. Possesses a thorough working knowledge of the several types of slot machines, their functions, malfunctions, and payout schedules. Maintains security of all games, money, and employees. Builds long‑term relationships with customers. Routinely strives to build and maintain rapport with slot players and manages customer disputes, making every effort to achieve customer satisfaction. Ensures that all performance reviews, disciplinary notices, and superior job performance notices are complete, on time and accurate. Monitors the performance of all employees and provides training and coaching, as necessary. Responsible for making sure there is always management on the floor and available to employees and guests. Makes recommendations to the Casino Manager‑Slots and/or the Director of Slot Service to improve the efficiency of the department and build business. What You Will Need High school diploma or equivalent required. Work requires a minimum age of 21. Work requires minimum of 1‑2 years’ casino operation experience, preferably in Slot Operations. Previous knowledge of casino rules, regulations, and procedures pertinent to slot operations is preferred. Effective communication in English, both verbal and written, in a professional manner. Knowledge of computer programs including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows. Ability to perform basic math functions quickly and accurately. Flexibility to work various shifts. Must present a well‑groomed and professional appearance. Gaming License and Alcohol Card needed. Additional Requirements Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the casino. Must be able to lift to 40 pounds; must be able to bend, reach, kneel, twist and grip items; also, able to walk and be on your feet for extended periods of time. Must possess a sense of urgency and keep pace with peak levels of business and customer demands. Must be able to work in stressful situations with constant public contact and frequent interruptions as well as possess basic math skills. Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English as well as be able to tolerate secondary tobacco smoke. Must be able to work any day, any shift.
