Mid-Market Account Executive

About the Role
This is a closing role on a lean fast-moving revenue team at a seed-stage AI productivity startup that has grown past $1M ARR entirely through inbound and virality. You will own the full deal cycle for mid-market accounts converting qualified pipeline into customers and helping shape how the sales motion scales.
What Youll Do
- Run consultative discovery calls to understand how prospects relate to their time and map the products scheduling capabilities to their specific pain points.
- Quarterback 30-day pilots with groups of up to 10 users managing each deal from demo through close on 45 to 60 day sales cycles.
- Navigate multi-stakeholder deals across financial services and tech companies clearly distinguishing between buyer end-user and decision-maker.
- Close mid-market contracts with ACVs ranging from $20K to $100K.
- Relay product feedback directly to the engineering team to help prioritize the roadmap as the product moves toward enterprise readiness.
What Were Looking For
- 2 to 5 years of B2B SaaS sales experience with time spent in a closing role (not solely SDR or BDR).
- Demonstrated track record of closing mid-market deals and consistently hitting or exceeding quota.
- Experience converting inbound leads not just outbound hunting.
- Familiarity with deal cycles in the 30 to 90 day range; experience outside enterprise-only 12-plus month cycles is important.
- At least 1 year of tenure in your most recent closing role.
- Background at an early-stage startup (seed through Series B sub-$10M ARR) is a strong plus.
- Based in San Francisco and comfortable working in-office four days per week.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary: $150000 plus uncapped commission. Equity participation available. Visa sponsorship is offered.
Location
Hybrid based in San Francisco CA . Four days per week in-office with one remote day mid-week.
