The right candidate will bring strong project management discipline, a sense of urgency, and the ability to hold internal stakeholders accountable for actions, decisions, and milestone completion across a wide range of business-critical projects.Job SummaryThe Program Manager – Energy Transition is responsible for leading through influence and coordinating cross-functional initiatives across manufacturing ramp-up, production transfers, quality investigations, cost reduction, and product development within our largest and fastest-growing business segment. As the Energy Transition segment continues to scale rapidly, this role will bring structure, discipline, and accountability to critical initiatives across the global organization. This individual will serve as the central driver of execution, ensuring priorities are aligned, actions are closed on time, risks are escalated early, and key milestones stay on track.This role is critical to aligning teams, maintaining momentum on key initiatives, and turning plans into results across the business.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPartner with local project teams to lead and coordinate internal cross-functional projects across manufacturing ramp-up, product transfers, quality investigations, cost reduction, and product development.Develop and maintain a structured process to manage multiple project plans, action logs, timelines, and milestone trackers, ensuring clear visibility and accountability across initiatives.Drive follow-up with internal teams with a strong bias for action, ensuring commitments are completed on time and issues are escalated quickly when progress stalls.Partner with global Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, and Product teams to align priorities and resolve roadblocks.Support manufacturing ramp-up efforts by flagging constraints to readiness activities, tracking open items, and helping teams meet launch and capacity milestones.Coordinate quality investigations and corrective action follow-through to ensure closure of key issues and prevention of repeat problems.Stay up to date and support cost reduction initiatives, ensuring savings ideas move through evaluation, ownership, and execution.Monitor project risks, identify gaps early, and escalate issues to leadership with clear recommendations and recovery actions.Prepare clear status updates weekly to BLL and communicate progress, risks, and decisions to leadership and project stakeholders.Travel as needed to support project execution, site coordination, and collaboration across locations.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesNoneQualifications7+ years of program or project management experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or product-driven environmentBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field preferredProven experience managing multiple concurrent projects with strong on-time delivery resultsDemonstrated ability to drive cross-functional execution across Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and FinanceExcellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skillsHigh-energy self-starter with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to drive progress in a fast-paced, cross-functional environmentDemonstrated bias for action with the ability to make progress through ambiguity, drive urgency, and move teams from discussion to executionProven ability to lead through influence, align stakeholders, and push initiatives forward without direct authorityDemonstrated ability to cut through complexity, remove roadblocks, and keep teams focused on critical actions and milestonesStrong follow-through and accountability mindset, with a track record of driving teams to closure and delivering results on timeResults-driven leader with a demonstrated ability to turn priorities into action, maintain momentum, and deliver measurable outcomes in complex cross-functional environmentsConfident communicator who is comfortable challenging assumptions, escalating issues, and driving clarity when priorities or ownership are unclearAbility to operate with intensity and discipline while managing multiple priorities across functions and locationsKey CompetenciesStrong Project Management Discipline – Builds structured plans, action logs, and milestone trackers across multiple concurrent programs.Effective Cross-Functional Collaboration – Aligns global Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, and Product teams toward shared outcomes.Clear, Action-Oriented Communication – Delivers concise weekly updates and clear escalation paths for leadership and stakeholders.Bias for Action – Drives follow-up relentlessly and ensures commitments are closed on time.Manufacturing Ramp-Up Expertise – Anticipates constraints, tracks open items, and supports successful launch and capacity milestones.Quality & Continuous Improvement Mindset – Coordinates corrective actions and ensures issues are resolved at the root cause.Risk Management – Identifies gaps early and brings clear recommendations and recovery actions to leadership.Customer-Focused Mindset – Supports execution that strengthens IPP’s reliability and trust with Bloom Energy.Comfort with Complexity & Ambiguity – Operates effectively in fast-paced, evolving environments.Are you ready to join a different kind of company where our people, our culture, and our commitments are centered around providing trusted solutions that improve lives around the world?Total RewardsThe compensation range for this position is $124,000.00 - $186,000.00, depending on experience.
