Accounting Manager

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to support financial operations for a dynamic organization in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This Long-term Contract position will lead core accounting activities. The role offers in-office work setting.Responsibilities:• Lead daily accounting activities across the general ledger, payables, receivables, revenue recognition, fixed assets, and tax-related processes.• Direct month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close cycles, ensuring timely reporting and accurate financial results for multiple entities.• Prepare financial statements, journal entries, reconciliations, and management reports that support internal and external reporting needs.• Supervise and develop accounting staff, providing guidance that promotes accuracy, accountability, and career growth.• Work closely with internal stakeholders, outside partners, and vendors to resolve issues, improve efficiency, and maintain reliable financial processes.• Deliver ad hoc financial analysis and reporting to leadership and support external tax professionals with information needed for federal and state filings.
